Below are a list of free search engine tools. Some of these tools are not only really cool, but very useful as well. Take the time to look through them, and keep coming back from time to time as I will be adding to them as I find new ones.
Yahoo Tools

website again! It saves the actual web page, and not the link. You will need to create a yahoo account to use this, but that is quick and painless to do!
Google Tools
Google Blogger – Ever wanted to have your own Blog? Google provide a free Blog where you can go and blog to your hearts content.
What is a Blog you ask? A blog is your easy-to-use web site, where you can quickly post thoughts, interact with people, and more.
Google Desktop Search
Google Desktop Search is a fantastic tool for finding almost anything on your computer. If you have ever tried using the search functionality of Windows to find a file on your computer I am sure, like me, you have been frustrated with its ineffectiveness.
Not only will the Google desktop search catalogue all your files, images, documents etc from your computer,

but it also does so with your e-mails; something you won’t find in Windows.
The desktop search regularly adds to its directory, so when you need to search for a file you can find it quickly and easily! The interface for the desktop search engine looks very much like the standard Google search engine. When you perform a normal Google internet search, it will show at the top of the Google search results page, any particular files you have stored on your own computer that match your search query!
But don’t worry, all these files remain private on your own computer and are not shared across the web!
