Changes to Search Engine Marketing Listings

In February 2005, Google had an algorithmic change which for many websites had a negative effect. Many websites that previously had No.1 rankings found themselves no longer appearing anywhere at all within Google, or their rankings had dropped dramatically. This was very much the case with one of our websites, Rowville Group Fitness. However with monitoring of the key phrases, and adjustments to the search engine optimisation of each page, Quantum Web Solutions have been able to raise the rankings of the major search engines back into the Top 10, and in most instances first place rankings. The above example is not an isolated one; the major search engines do make changes to the way they list their websites from time to time. This is why constant optimisation and the monitoring of website statistics is important if you are serious about keeping high rankings in the major search engines.
